PAPERLESS STATEMENTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Stopping Mailed Statements and Notices: Electronic Statement and Notice Disclosure and Agreement
To provide your deposit account statement, loan account (if loan statement appears on your current deposit account statement, such as an overdraft line of credit), other indicated account statement(s) and required notices to you electronically only, Associated Bank is required to obtain your consent to the receipt of your statement and required notices in electronic format only. Your consent to receiving documents in electronic format applies to account statement(s), tax reporting documents, and required notices. Some additional examples of electronic records covered by this consent agreement include the following:
- This Electronic Statement and Notice Disclosure and Agreement and any amendments;
- All of the Communications related to any Associated Bank Product, except for those excluded by the terms of this Agreement;
- All of the periodic account and activity statements, disclosures and notices we provide to you concerning your Associated Bank Products;
- Any notice or disclosure regarding fees or assessments of any kind, including late fees, overdraft fees, over limit fees, and returned item fees;
- Notices of amendments to any of your agreements with us; and
- Other disclosures and notices that we are legally required to provide to you, or choose to provide to you in our discretion.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to have your account statement and required notices provided or made available only in electronic format by calling us at 800-236-8866, in writing at Associated Bank, Attn: MS 7710, 1305 Main Street, Stevens Point, Wisconsin 54481, or via secure messaging. Associated Bank will notify you by email when your electronic statement and required notices are available for viewing. If your email address to which we will be sending your notice should change in the future, you must update the Digital Banking Preference tab with your new email address in order to continue receiving your statement in electronic format.
If you do not update the Digital Banking Preference tab with your new email address, we will continue to send you the notice that your statement or required notice is available electronically for viewing to your email address on record with us for a period of time. You may not receive the notice. We reserve the right to begin sending paper copies of your statement and required notices in the mail. To access paperless statements and to view the disclosures, agreements and required notices online, you will need Internet access, a currently supported and updated Internet browser that supports Secure Socket Layer with at least 128 bit encryption, JavaScript and enabled security features. Additionally, you will need a computing platform with hardware that supports these requirements, and software capable of rendering portable document format reader (.pdf) files. To retain a copy of the disclosures, agreements and required notices, you will need a media storage device (e.g., hard drive), an email address (if you sign up through our Customer Care Center) or print copies of the documents using your printer. You also have a right to obtain paper copies of your current and prior account statement(s) and required notices by contacting Customer Care Center by phone at 800-236-8866. Regarding copies of statements, we will charge photocopy fees identified in our current Consumer Deposit Accounts Fee Schedule or Loan Account Fee Schedule, which may be amended by us from time to time.
Although you provide your consent to receive statements and all required records and notices electronically, Associated Bank retains the right to send such items by postal mail. Also, we may provide to you other notices and account related communications electronically that may not be required by law.
By providing your consent, you are also confirming that you have the hardware and software described above, that you are able to receive and review Electronic Records, and that you have an active email account. You are also confirming that you are authorized to, and do, consent on behalf of all the other account owners, authorized signers, authorized representatives, delegates, product owners and/or service users identified with your Associated Bank Products.
